The Fire Marshal’s Office is a division in the Mabank Police Department that has three full-time certified fire investigators / fire inspectors. They have the responsibilities for all Fire Prevention/Education Programs, Fire Inspection duties and investigation of all suspicious and incendiary fires within the city limits of Mabank..

Our Mission is to provide an efficient delivery of services to improve the safety and quality of life for the Citizens of Mabank.
Services
- The Fire Marshal’s Office provides services such as inspections for commercial and retail buildings to ensure the safety and well-being of the occupants, as well as the customers.
- Certificates of Occupancy inspections are done when a new business opens or a business changes owners or use.
Inspections
Inspections are also made in residences upon request for foster care or adoption.
Investigations
Fire investigations are the responsibility of the Fire Marshal’s Office and Police Department. If the fire is found to be arson once the cause and origin are determined, a criminal investigation is begun.
